Performance Test Manager

Job Description

Location: Bellevue, WA
Relevant Work Experience: At least 8 years of recent experience in Testing and QA, and 3 years of experience as a Test Manager, and 3 years of recent experience in Performance Testing using Load Runner.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a test team up to 25 people
• Reports to Engagement Manager.
• Gathering requirements, scheduling, resolving issues, and reporting status
• Work closely with client managers, DBAs, Leads and Build experts.
• Complete, accurate and timely knowledge transfer to the offshore team
• Working with offshore team to create test plan
• Mentor team and inculcate testing practices and work closely with development teams.
• Working with the customer to derive acceptance criteria, testing standards etc.
• Assign tasks and monitoring progress
• Preparing metrics for projects/team

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing multiple test teams
• Ability to estimate work efforts and allocate tasks to team members
• Ability to track project progress and effectively report status on a regular basis
• Must have proven familiarity with various testing phases and methodologies.
• Must be able to write test plans, test cases
• 3 Years of experience in Performance Testing using Load Runner.
• 3 Years of experience in Automation Testing and Build Verification Testing
• Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Very strong understanding of performance testing analytics.
• Knowledge of Internet related technologies; web services; and testing complex internet applications and services, esp J2EE is required.
