Sr C++ developer
Location: Bellevue, WA
Relevant Work Experience: 6 years
Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
Responsibilities:
- Produce all design documentation including class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and state diagrams
- Translate business needs/requirements into technical solutions
- Clear understanding of various design patterns, advantages and disadvantages
- Verify that the design established is implemented as specified
- Strong debugging and problem Solving skills
- Liaison between the client and the technology development team in China
- Escalates and resolves issues proactively
- Mentors technical resources at offshore
- Ability to estimate work efforts and allocate tasks to Freeborders testers/developers
- Ability to track project progress and effectively report status on a regular basis
- Knowledge of other Internet related technologies; web services; and testing complex internet applications and services very beneficial
Qualifications:
- Strong C++ development experience – at least 6 years
- Should have knowledge in Java and related technologies
- Very good understanding of the software life cycle development process
- Project management capabilities
- Knowledge in C# preferred
- Experience with Outsourcing and/or serving in a consulting environment is preferred
- Strong communication and customer facing skills - both verbal and written are required. Good listening skills. Good presentation skills
- Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or engineering
